REVIEW (CMR) PROGRAMME
The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is New Zealand's Roading Authority, responsible
for the management and administration of construction contracts
on NZ’s state highway network. Nationally they let engineering
design and road construction contracts to the value of (approx.)
$ each year.
For the past five years, RMG have been contracted to independently
review a range of supplier contracts, assessing compliance
with contract requirements and the implementation and effectiveness
of supplier contract management and administration programmes.
This is national programme, involving construction contracts
ranging from $3-14 Million. In addition we continue to provide
contract management Consultancy advice and support to the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA).

CONSENT APPLICATION And PROCESSING

RE-ENGINEERING
Hamilton is New Zealand's 3rd largest city, and Hamilton
City Council are responsible for the administration of local
government legislation and management of a wide range of public
facilities.
RMG assisted with the review and redesign of the entire consent
application and administration processes. The key drivers
for this project were customer frustration with bureaucracy
and reducing internal inefficiencies. This involved determining
customer needs, identifying barriers to providing effective
service, implementation of new processes and facilitation
of this change. The result has been a significant increase
in efficiency, reduction in costs and improved customer satisfaction.
The programme has also been a model for a multitude of other
local government organisations throughout NZ. |
